I've seen the pictures of the pyramids from inside pizza hut and from roads with cars but never heard of the golf course

Part of a Marriott hotel, it seems.
It's around 8 or 9 kms to pump water from the Nile to that place.
And that's the thing, isn't it? It's in the middle of a famously bone-dry desert, but the longest river in the world is just near enough to have this luxury happen.
