Hello folks - I've tried all.the usual spots like Anna's archive and Z library and so on to no avail. This is the book in question -

https://books.google.co.uk/books/about/Theater_and_Film.html?id=W7HdXRCLcoIC&source=kp_book_description&redir_esc=y

There's a copy of it on internet archive but it's only accessible to American people with impaired sight it seems.

Anyone know a way around it?

Seriously.

And I know this is backwards thinking but the idea that the policy is "Well give you this book for free but only if it's exceptionally difficult for you to read it" is some cartoonishly cruel means testing.

Excellent - yep - I don't know how I didn't get it before!

Thanks

The archive can be a bit spotty at times. Sometimes you just have to try again later.

Oh. Wow. Thanks. That's so strange! I tried it about 5 minutes before making the post!

Thanks!

It's not on your university database/library?

Interlibrary loan / library request seems to be the way, I couldn't even find it on LibGen.. hopefully you don't need it within about two weeks, OP.

Edit: happy to have been proven wrong on this one

I go to a theatre uni so they've only got access to some pretty niche performance stuff. Pretty annoying to be honest.

Huh didn't know that was a thing that the archive did. I'm both of those things (unfortunately) and could try registering if you don't need it right this second.

If you do end up using getting the Library of Congress credentials and can't figure out how to de-DRM the encrypted DAISY file(s) I can help

Hey! Thanks for the offer! I appreciate it. It turned up on Anna's Archive suddenly though, somehow. I have no idea how I didn't find it on there before.
