I can’t help but be disturbed by it after watching a Let’s Play of Amanda The Adventurer where it’s implied all the objects with eyes in the show are people Amanda has kidnapped and forced into such a hellish existence.

I’ve always wanted to put googly-eyes on a

drugsmeth pipe

Did the toilet parts have eyes before being combined into a finished toilet? What critical mass of size or function is necessary for a thing to deserve eyes?

Do eyes spontaneously appear and vanish as things are dis/assembled? Do sets of eyes indicate distinct consciousnesses, and what happens to each consciousness as its body parts are combined or separated?

The eyes sprout once the object is "complete", interpret that how you will.

It's been shown that items as small as Nintendo 64 cartridges can grow the eyes.

Military weapons would forever be questioning their existence, especially the ones being used on civilians.

They wouldn't be objects

I often think about this.

I think if I ever get around to making a cute little 3D indie game, I would explore these possibilities.
