Alonso has really been in the shadows lately it seems. Any given weekend the car is more or less nowhere to start with and they end up flirting with the undesirable end of the midfield. I find it interesting it's so close but it also makes me think maybe the team and both drivers are more or less at the limit of their current design already. Time will tell I suppose.
It's mad how one sided Russell is against Hamilton in quali. That's such an impressive result.
It always irked me because I dislike Russell and like Hamilton, but Hamilton always seems to take Russell in the race whether it be strategy, luck, or chance, idk. Now I just feel satisfied seeing Russell throw away his qualifying gains during the race..
Totally agree. Gotta respect, but it's satisfying to watch him somehow bean it or just get overtaken by hamilton.
