Pictured here is a Moox, allthough I can tell you for a fact the concept has been around since at least the 70s, it's just that I can't prove it because there's nothing on the internet. This too, I imagine, shall be forgotten, the website is a broken mess and the shop is down.

Cool toy, I think. Adult kick scooters can be fun as a training implement, they're a lot harder so so you can get a lot of workout in shorter time and it encompasses more of the body, this is marketed as the best of both worlds as per transportation (and it is of course, from San Francisco).

Which is why I don't get it. Kick scooters with cycle wheels are exhausting as hell compared to a bicycle. The only thing I could see this do better is maybe you can scooter it on the sidewalk or whatever as it's not technically a bicycle?

The cranks seem like they would REALLY get in the way of your propulsion kicks though.
