This great song is a bit of forgotten 80's that deserves a mention. Benjamin Orr was the lead singer & bassist on most of The Cars early work which made them popular. He passed away in 2000.

I remember this song from when I was a kid. It was a pretty big hit I think because it was constantly on the radio. I didn’t know he was a former Cars frontman. Learn something new every day.

Ric Ocasek was the main songwriter but he didn't really take over vocal duties until "Shake It Up" happened. My first exposure to The Cars was around that time, so I assumed that Ric was always the lead singer. In reality, most of the songs that I like the best were sung by Ben Orr.
