I think the joke is it's a bunch of large gals in sequin dresses, and the sign suggests they epitomize British nightlife. Which may or may not be accurate, I'm unsure. But either way, it's a poorly formatted joke.

Taking this from Jeggs' perspective, they probably believe you're trying to pull the

Taking it from Jeggs' perspective -- again -- other communities may receive this more favorably, regardless of perceived offensiveness. (Yes, offensive jokes aren't completely bad. I've laughed at racist jokes against my race. IMO this meme isn't particularly interesting tho.)

I'm not sure anyone was offended. TIL overweight British women in sequins was some sort of meme. I think most people were genuinely confused.
