Nominees were announced for the Indie Game Awards, and there are 3 ½ metroidvanias in the running for Game of the year ("UFO 50" has some metroidvanias in it, hence the "½") (www.indiegameawards.gg)

Additionally, "Animal Well" picked up a nom for Solo Development, "Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus" and "Ultros" got noms for Visual Design, and "Minishoot Adventures" and "Nine Sols" got noms for Gameplay Design"
