This was high on my list of things Framework could make. Looks pretty promising, especially for a school laptop

I would love to see them try to tackle making a repairable / upgradeable tablet next

Well now I'm interested. 2 in 1's are my go to these days. I don't think I could go back.

edit: went to check the site.. 17 minute wait time queue? Jfc really? A queue? For a website? In this economy?

A Linus tech tips video recently dropped about these laptops so TONs of people are going to the site. For such a small company they can only handle so much web traffic.

to bad. I was hoping for something more like the surface book where the screen is a tablet and the bottom has the external graphics card and more memory or such.

Same. I've been really hoping for a surface pro competitor especially from a Linux friendly company like Framework.

Still, this is a really good step in that direction.
