Honestly, I don't know if he's knowingly lying or just genuinely fucking stupid.
Intel and Nvidia are going on a Crusade lmao
Here in Canada we got rid of the penny years ago.
When paying in cash, we round to the nearest 0.05 but with card payments it's still the exact price.
Also, the amount of money you'd lose by rounding in a cash transaction is pretty minimal.
Well, getting rid of the penny was always kinda a good idea. It costs more to make one than it's actually worth.
Here in Canada we killed our penny years ago.
The US used to have a half penny, but it was killed over 100 years ago.
Minting such a small amount of change that sees almost no practical use is pointless.
When my dad first saw an nvme drive he had to triple check what he was looking at BC in his old 70s computer brain there's no fucking way something so small and unmoving can hold so much data, read/write it so fast, and all for a relatively cheap price.
Isn't this basically how Fedora and RHEL are? RHEL is paid for giving you support, updates, etc. While Fedora is FOSS. You just install it and they don't care what you do with it.
Did Microsoft leave their marketing department to AI or something? They really seem to be dropping the ball rn with app names, and recognition.
(Teams New vs. Teams (New))
There is photoGIMP which redesigns the UI to be more like Photoshop. There's also Photoshop keyboard shortcut lists out there that you can change GIMP to.
It's not perfect, but it defiantly helps for a lot of people.
For whatever reason, GIMP really wants to try and not be Photoshop when that's literally the thing it's competing against.
French has the fleur De lies which, although it was a symbol of French royalty is still used on the flag of Quebec and some places in Canada identify the French language option with the flag of Quebec.
Realistically, the best option would just be a shorted abbreviation of the language in that language. Ex. Eng for English and deu for German
When I was visiting Paris, a tour bus we got on had a audio guide, the languages were all labeled with national flags.
English -> UK flag French -> flag of France Spanish -> Flag of Spain Portuguese -> Flag of Brazil
Even in Europe Portugal plays second fiddle for it's own language
Homelessness, but fun.
