Reddit is the new digg. Its taking longer but the result will be the same. When the real mass exodus occurs we will pick up all the toxins currently in their bubble over there.

Welcome. There's a lot less fuckery and it's a lot quieter.
Also a Reddit refugee, but moved over after the API debacle.
After that Reddit decided to ban my 10 year old account, I guess as a final fuck you, but I’m not missing much these days for 98% of what Reddit considers content now.
The other 2% is when I pop in for my super niche hobby subs because Lemmy is too small for those

For Android mobile, I recommend Summit. Another good app is Connect.
I was using sync for Reddit and the developer smoothly transitioned it over to Lemmy without issue

If they ban your account do they delete your posts ?
They don't.
How do I know? I got banned for arguing with a pedo apologist and telling him to go fuck himself. He replied to a comment and then blocked me so that it would seem like I was droppping off of the convo. I edited my last reply to call him out, and bam. Reddit perma-bans me for 'continuing to harass a user who had already blocked you'.
The only way to get rid of your posts and comments so that reddit doesn't benefit from them is to delete your account.
