Have you tried playing with the settings in Posts feed -> Post appearance? I use "compact" view and I don't need to scroll far at all. You can also set a line limit for "Full" view.

You can set a max height when using a full layout. To set a max height go to Settings > Post feed > Post appearance > Full content max lines and pick the nimber of lines to limit by.

I set mine to 5 lines. Any idea why I still have to scroll more than once for a post?
That looks like a very long image which is why you need to scroll so much. The line limit only affects text in a post.
So, can an option to limit the height be added? Not based on text lines but a fixed height?

Even more customization options is only a good thing in my book. I'm using Compact at the moment, but I might get a nicer view out of List With Cards if I could tweak the post height and spacer thickness.
