Why on earth would you say "between C and E" and not "between S and F"

[–] vfsh@lemmy.blahaj.zone 30 points 2 months ago (1 children)

They were probably thinking of the alphabet not the physical key layout

Funny that it works both ways. FGH is the only other group that works in the same way.

If we allow a bit more freedom in the wording, we also have the following:

"The letter after [K,O]"

"The letter before [L,P]"

I hat that happen on my olt laptop I uset for car paint formulas. On screen keyboarts are a thing, but it is more fun to improvise for stuff that toesn't matter.

That keyboard looks like it breaks some geneva conventions

[–] swab148@lemm.ee 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I have that exact keyboard (minus the super glue), what's wrong with it?

[–] Lazycog@sopuli.xyz 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

At a quick glance it looks very dirty and looks like the "glue" is something else.

Probably not as dirty as it looks though. The coating just makes it look greasy from this angle and lighting.

Oh alright lol, I was worried for a minute there. It's just some basic Dell thing, I was like, "does this keyboard have a history of racism or something?"

[–] Lazycog@sopuli.xyz 5 points 2 months ago

Nono nothing serious! :) not that I know of atleast lol

Can you not scrape it off, Meghyn?

[–] Trex202@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

Why is there superglue on the keyboard, Todd??

I don't know, Margo!

Accidentally spilt candle wax all over my laptop keyboard, shit was not fun, half a grand to replace.

Do not recommend.

[–] Irelephant@lemm.ee 7 points 2 months ago

That was some very expensive candle wax.
