It's a great old classic circuit but it's just not feasible for the current era landships to be expected to be able to actually race there. Let's try getting the size of the cars back down to a reasonable size first, then we can think about revisiting Imola.

Dude. Imola has never been good for racing, even when the cars were smaller.
Cars are big mostly for safety reasons, and I wouldn't want to sacrifice driver lifes for overtakes. Wider tracks would be a better solution.
The safety reasons are actually not a large part of the reason as I understand it. For example, I believe the engine and gearbox are separated by something like a 50cm spacer to make the wheelbase artificially longer. The more surface area to work with the more aero they can fit on the cars, which is I believe the primary reason they are so big these days.
