I have a few sets of spare towels. 1 set are old and used for drying the dog and the odd water spill etc. 1 set are ornamental, new, never been used but are still functional. 1 set are new Sheridan towels that may have come from a fancy hotel.
Which ones do I keep for emergencies and/or drying the dog and which ones do I donate?
Chilling in Pender Park before my haircut. This is a pretty cute little park, great trees, gorgeous in the autumn sun.
Help me decide, should I get f&c nearby the salon after my haircut or should I go buy some salmon to pan fry with some air fryer chips? I'm a bit loathe to cook and clean but it might also be good for me nervous system to do something with my hands and I can probably get more salmon for less $ if I do it myself. Otoh, I'm not that tight for cash atm and I kind of like the dopamine hit of the f&c. I have plenty of time to bulk cook this weekend.
Fish and chips cooked at home is nice but it doesn't scratch the specific itch that fish and chips does. Do it.
Maybe some craft to keep your hands busy? Or cleaning?

The answer is always f&c. Edited to add: I am so very lucky to live coastal and have a variety of fantastic greasy shops to chose from so that sways my decision!

I nearly bought a unit overlooking that park, but in the end chose not to. The local f&c is good though.
Got a new vet today and he refused to perform cystocentis due to Melbcat having had 2 recently (?). Sent us home with pain relief to get a sample the traditional way despite how hard and unreliable it is with her.
Cut to Melbcat being very sooky and unwell tonight, getting a sample hours after closing but being unsure when she did it, and having to uber the dodgy sample in tomorrow while exhausted with no supports on. Iโm going to ring the clinic on opening tomorrow and ask that antibiotics be dispensed when I bring it in because she absolutely has a uti.
If he had just listened to me she could have begun treatment tonight ๐
husband is home today so no furniture painting will be done ๐ซก
A couple of Temu packages have already arrived this morning. Some plastic shelves are the wrong colour and a plastic bin is warped out of shape, but most of the stuff is not too bad. One small rug/mat I don't remember ordering, so I will have to investigate what it is supposed to be. Miss Meow's window hammock looks good, and I think she'll like the window-mounted toy with ping pong balls inside too.
Edit: looks like I did order the mat, although I can't remember where I was planning to put it. I have four external doors in the new place though, so it certainly won't go astray.
Time to watch a new episode of Poker Face ๐๐ด๐ฌ
Once I finish Animal Kingdom I'll definitely be watching S2 of poker face!
