Absolutely deranged scumbag behavior, voting for Trump is bad enough but lying to children in your care to protect your own fragile egos from what you've done (that "we don't want to hurt them" is self serving bullshit whether they're consciously aware of it or not) is even worse. Those kids are going to go to school and they're going to hear what really happened to their father from one of their classmates, probably in the most traumatizing way possible, all because these fucking sorry excuses for caregivers didn't have the backbones to admit what they've done.
Yeah, at some point teaching your grandkids the negative effects of GOP actions is a GOOD thing. They don't want to do that, though.

I'm starting to think this just isn't true. I believe that the average person is just not paying attention. Even the average immigrant family that might randomly have heard / seen trump ramble on about immigration problems.
I think, just like the farmers that suffered with taraffs last time , these people are just on autopilot. They assume america is gonna keep on being "good" and do "the right thing" by them and just punish the deserving (whatever that means to them)

It's messed up, I'm up in Canada and personally know several deranged people who scream and shout for Trump and a few of them are non white.

Not only did these assholes vote for exactly what is happening to them, because they are so damn self centered they couldn't possibly imagine someone wanting to hurt THEM, but they refuse to acknowledge the reason their son was taken by ICE is because he is a criminal. They raised a criminal and didn't get him naturalized as a citizen. This is as much their fault as Trump's.
