Don't be a dick.
Try not to get too bogged down in genre-gatekeeping. Discussing the "tech" credentials of some release/band is fun, but as long as it's oozing viscera, it probably has a place here. Shredbang!
Suggested (not enforced) music-posting format, mostly to distinguish band name from album/song title:
Artist - Album Or Song (Location, Year) (ffo: These Bands) (links)
ffo ("for fans of") and added links (e.g. YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp, Encyclopaedia Metallum) are optional but can make it easier to check out the music you're sharing.

For the Pyres - At the Pyres of Sin (Sweden) (not suuper tech, but pretty good)

tbh I almost slept on it because I haven't listened to them since I was first exploring the world of death metal (including black metal, grindcore, etc.), and stumbled into Demigod, but ffs the title track slapppps, very catchy

I'm super picky about the black metal end of things, but behemoth hits in the sweet zone for me. And hell yes it slaps :) maybe their best song on any album.
