Monica Everett, the Silent Witch, is the world’s only practitioner of Voiceless Magic, a veritable heroine who single-handedly fended off the Black Dragon of legend. However, the young prodigy is actually…super-duper shy! Yup, turns out she only learned Voiceless Magic to avoid speaking in public. Ignorant of this, the Seven Sages have placed her on a top-secret mission to guard the Second Prince. Can Monica keep it together as she contends with both social interaction and the evils targeting the young royal?

I am currently reading the manga adaptation of this story and have been enjoying it. Monica has basically turned her social anxiety into a superpower while simultaneously inspiring everybody around her to want to protect her. It's very cute.

I read the LN (and finished with the WN, because the LN wasn't fully adapted yet at the time) a couple years ago and liked it decently. I don't recall too much about it outside the premise and the character growth exhibited in the final conflict.

After watching the PV, this looks like it'll be a fun show. The animation looks like it'll be good in some ways and unexceptional in others. I think I liked all the voice actors. A few memories have swelled back up from the gutters of my mind. I think it'll be a big step up over the fantasy anime that are currently airing.
