Executed?
Took them 35 years to apologize: (And people say the George Floyd Protests didn't do anything)

They also tried to cremate remains without permission from the families, then realized they'd screwed up even that.

I mean, them apologizing doesn’t mean shit. What came out of the protests was the massive, nation-wide changes we saw immediately afterward. The chode who killed him being arrested and sentenced, the cutback in budgets, the actual policy changes that started to come down like unarmed mental health emergency squads. A lot of that shit disappeared not long afterward, but that just goes to show we need the sustained pressure on serious issues like this.
Them painting streets and changing street names and giving empty speeches about past murders and crimes is nothing but a way to attempt to pacify the masses. Action is what counts.

I kind of intended that comment about Floyd with a bit of /s but I can see how that wasn't apparent. Overall we agree!
AP News on the subject today [emphasis mine]:
In 1985, a confrontation between Philadelphia authorities and the radical group MOVE ended as a police helicopter dropped two bombs onto the group’s row house, igniting a fire that killed 11 people (including five children) and destroyed 61 homes.
We need more rad groups. Rest in power <3
