Oh. That guy. Thanks for the reminder.

Important context for whatever he has to say, between the rants about teh woke gaem jernalizm and cancel culture, and being called out as an edgy harassing asshole by his own employees.

I guess there are some cultures, especially work cultures and those enforcing them, that I don't mind being "cancelled", if only it worked.

This man is a cartoon. I love him. He sucks so bad.

It did sound like the initial comments were taken from Discord, not an interview, which to me paints it in a different light.

I’m sure I’ve claimed to be the Queen of England on there once.

Does it though? I feel like there's a difference between chatting with your mates and posting stuff aimed at your customers - especially things that might drive them to take actions that will affect your bottom line.

Wait. You can do that??? Oh no.

It was an obvious content bait piece, and it worked. Got shared everywhere, people kept saying "no the game is actually amazing now guys trust me buy three copies" and all it took was a Discord message, way cheaper than hiring a link building service or outreach campaign.

Well that sucks. I was really liking this game but I'm not supporting trash people with my money. Sucks for the developers working there. Refund requested and review with reasoning posted.

I was unaware that Thomas Mahler was such a goon, bad boss, and puts out misleading press to bolster sales. I have requested a refund and will not be supporting anything he is involved in going forward.
