As a joke, a number of black TikTokers declared white people with red hair count as black now and then didn't add any follow up. Honestly a pretty funny trend, and I guess this article is saying it brought up an interesting discussion.
Normally discussions about race don't spark unity, which is why (I guess) op found this news uplifting.
