Just met hambams vet at the dog park. Lovely lady and very hard core knew her shit and doesn't suffer fools that's for sure. Had a nice long walk and chat with her around the park. Convo got surprisingly personal. She invited me back to her practice up the road, had some champagne w/ her and her assistant and got some great tips on hambam.

Offered me use of her clinic to leave the dog there and for training whenever I need if I need to go help my mum.

So random.

There are kind souls out there but I was not expecting that.

[–] just_kitten@aussie.zone 8 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Enjoy! Go to Kings Park Botanic Gardens, highly rate it.

I went to UWA for about a semester and lived on campus at Currie Hall - King's park was my back yard! I love it there

They’re looking very healthy

I'm starting to wonder if I'm one of many people feeding them...

If ya'll are delaying the dentist piece of advice: a cleaning regularly can prevent a filling. Ask me how I know. Also if your yet to do a will please consider this an order to go get that done ASAP.

I've got this bacterial rash either as a result of how sick I've been , or along side it. My skin feels so dry and gross. I feel like either an unmasked Deadpool without the healing factor or the infected guy in a zombie movie that tries to hide it and spreads it around the office.

how goods a crumpet with a bit of butter and peanut butter?!

[–] Bottom_racer@aussie.zone 9 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

butter and peanut butter

That argument needs to be put to rest.

There needs to be both.

It has been written and therefore is.

[–] TinyBreak@aussie.zone 6 points 2 weeks ago

theres no argument. Theres people who like it and then people who are wrong.

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 9 points 2 weeks ago

A bit? Lol. Butter needs to be slapped on with a trowel.

Peanut butter and butter. You and @Bottom_racer@aussie.zone are my people.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 6 points 2 weeks ago

What is wrong with you?

crumpets are made with little holes so they can hold butter and JAM or HONEY

crumpets are a little sweet so go with sweet things

english muffins with PB is good

Frost on my neighbour's roof this morning. Haven't seen that before. Grass at tramstop was white with frost except for a ring around each tree roughly equal to the canopy of that tree.

I've finally figured out how to get Gibson to go where I want her to.

I move to the room and close the door.

BOOM!

2 seconds later she's going nuts for me to open the door for her lol

Cats are always on the wrong side of a door.

First the Liberals get utterly trounced in the elections, now the Nationals are actually deciding to leave the coalition! Well well well. What a year for Australian politics. This will make passing legislation even more interesting... will the Liberals survive being reduced to 28 pathetic seats across the entire country?

Personally I'd love to see country Australia wake the fuck up but these nuclear-touting ass-backward idiots look set to stay for a while. Maybe this breakup could be good for the Liberals to regain some respectability

[–] TinyBreak@aussie.zone 6 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

theyll be back. nationals cant win without libs to try take the city seats. Fuck knows they aint winning any city/suburban seats themselves!

I was going to go to Ballarat today, but I think I might put it off until tomorrow so I can get a few more things organised to take up.

Birdbath has frozen. Hope the birds have ice skates.

[–] dumblederp@aussie.zone 6 points 2 weeks ago

Used to have to go round the horses troughs and break the ice in the mornings.

Tim Wilson is 128 votes ahead with only 86 envelopes left to count; Zoe can't win on indicative preferences but (a) let's see what the formal distribution of preference yields, and (b) CAN THE MARGIN GO BELOW 100?!?! In which case it's more likely that the AEC would do a recount.... though I still think it'd need a total fluke/miracle for Zoe to retain her seat.

I've just arrived at work. I was in my car with the heater on full and a beanie on.

it's cold!

Having a quick coffee before I go out on duty for an hour.

[–] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 7 points 2 weeks ago

More sorting at home turned out to be a good decision. I got a bunch more stuff onto the hard rubbish pile (just in time, they've just picked up all the metal bits) and have found someone to take the chest freezer from the shed. A couple more things are up for sale, and with the freezer and some other clutter gone I have enough room to actually start sorting and packing things up properly.

[–] TinyBreak@aussie.zone 7 points 2 weeks ago

rate cut! Heck yeah. Bank passing it along too!

Most of my team are offsite and so I'm getting absolutely nothing extra done except reading about my favourite KDramas around answering any emails/calls that come in.

Place near me is advertising a dimmie pizza today... should I do it?

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 8 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Would I do it? Yes. Is it gonna be shit? Yes. Would I still do it? Yes.

The answer is YES! and report back with pics
