https://www.ipcinfo.org/fileadmin/user_upload/ipcinfo/docs/IPC_Gaza_Strip_Acute_Food_Insecurity_Malnutrition_Apr_Sept2025_Special_Snapshot.pdf

Nearly 71,000 annual cases of acute malnutrition among children aged 6 to 59 months, including 14,100 severe cases, are expected to occur between April 2025 and March 2026. Nearly 17,000 pregnant and breastfeeding women will need treatment for acute malnutrition

Not trying in any way to downplay Israel's genocide in Gaza, but ... 14,000 babies don't just die like that, that's not how things work.

He misread the report, he needs to shut up and let smarter people talk so that he doesn't add noise to the actually credible arguments.

Honestly there are far more damning points to be made here, and let's be perfectly clear, babies will die of malnutrition in the next 48 hours, but this is just stupid.

Thanks for doing the extra labor here.

That number just looked impossible, that would be a massive chunk of all babies in Gaza, all dying at the same 2 day period.

If they only stopped aid like yesterday it would be one thing, but this was just silly.
