As usual, cute popular animals get saved, commodity animals get fucked. The cow leather is in no way less gruesome.

I’m not defending cow leather or factory farming in general, but the article indicates that the kangaroo hunt is especially cruel because wounded animals are left to die and the orphaned young are abandoned or bludgeoned.
