I hope I was the only one taught this, but I have a feeling it was common practice. It creeped me out so bad, and boy did it kill the spice in the bedroom. I have no idea how this even got started except maybe it was some spinoff of repentance being between you and the lord, or that he needed to be involved in every aspect of your life. Any insight as to why this became a thing would be appreciated. I have a feeling there were plenty of GC talks about it.

Also, would love to hear any other bizarre nonsense you were taught about marriage.
