Netflix' live-action ATLA announces supporting cast for seasons 2 and 3 (infosec.pub)

For season 3, Jon Jon Briones (known from Ratched and West End/Broadway musical theatre) will play Master Piandao, and Tantoo Cardinal (known from Dances with Wolves, Killers of the Flower Moon) will play Hama.

Also announced are additional actors for season 2 as can be seen in the image.

Netflix announced that Season 2 has officially wrapped, and Season 3 will now begin shooting.

I was about to type "I can't believe there are going to be two more seasons of this garbage," but given how awful so many shows are today, it makes sense.

I foolishly allowed myself to get excited for season 1. I won't be watching seasons 2 and 3.

My main reason for watching is to see what alt-history choices they make in derivating from the original show. For that purpose it's quite interesting.

Maybe it is like in season 1 where they created a "new" character Yukari to be Suki's mother and mayor of the village at the same time, as opposed to the male mayor of the town in the OG cartoon.

June already was in season 1, with the same actress expected to continue playing her.

For Jin, nothing official yet but a leak/rumour says she will be played by Angela Najjar.
