It's a silly idea, I like it, but it's silly.
The Orange TurdNugget will either put a stop to this, just like he has to his own trials for his own treason from the stolen documents debacle.
Or he'll pardon Felon Mucks if anything comes from it.
If it's a lawsuit instead of a criminal trial, it can't be disrupted by prosecutor corruption or pardoned away. It also can't result in jail time though. That will only be possible once Trump's goons are no longer running the Dept of Justice.

The states had asked Chutkan to temporarily block DOGE from accessing any data systems or terminating any federal employees. But the judge denied that request on Feb. 18. She found that there were legitimate questions about Musk’s authority but said there weren’t grounds to justify a temporary restraining order.
Well, at least there were no repercussions from not putting a restraining order on the activity that was clearly illegal. /s The damage has already been done. It's great that this may provide some accountability but I won't hold my breath waiting for the wealthy to face consequences in the USA.

You can't ruin the wealthy while the most bribable president in history is sitting in the oval office. The most you can do is transfer a chunk of his wealth to Trump. At least, that's the most you can do while working within the system...
Even if found guilty or liable I doubt there will be any repercussions for him. Nothing will change. None of the departments will get back their employees.
He might have to pay a fine that amounts to pocket change for him.

You're right, because the only attitude that WOULD have it happen involves the phrase "well regulated militias"
It's not the judiciary who needs to change the government.
Its the fucking apathetic people of the USA, who by this point are so indoctrinated and polarised by social media and news sources with agendas that they'll keep allowing politicians to get away with making bank while pointing at every single thing they see in front of them, except when facing a mirror.
Don't worry, the rest of the western world will soon follow suit.
let's skip that and send him right to jail, then litigate the specifics of his many many crimes. Nobody is in doubt he has committed them, even him, who claimed during the 2024 campaign that if tRump lost Elon himself was "completely fucked". The only way out of this shitnado is fast-tracking the courts, their strategy of move fast and break America that they have on loan from Silicon Valley vulture capital.
