Idiocracy made the assumption that people were stupid but well intentioned.
Narrator: They were not, in fact, well intentioned
for most of them, "research" means rephrasing the keywords typed into google.
It is truly depressing to remember the vast majority of people, in the US at least, are only about as smart as a 6th grader.

So were start with the fact that 2+2=5 and build our glorious new science up from there.
control the way it is communicated to the public and the power to “discipline” anyone who violates the way the administration views science.
Freedom of media and freedom of speech, huh.
Not to mention it's unconstitutional.
The downfall from self inflicted injury will be faster and more severe than anything seen in history.
