What home invader Rings the doorbell? And he shot him as he was driving away. This defense is shit.

Exactly. I'm a terrible liar, can't do it to save my life, so I have huge... well, not really respect, but maybe bafflement towards people who are able to spout this caliber of bullshit with a straight face.

Home invaders sometimes ring doorbells to check if anyone is home: https://youtu.be/iYbV_GTY5k4

That doesn't excuse this asshat.

Maybe the Doordash guy didn't give him his food and he was really hungry so he shot at him. A hangry murder attempt.

The dude was driving away. Solid fear that he's breaking in, dude, I believe you. /s

Dude was driving away and the guns were illegal. Not in that they couldn't be made legal they just chose not to likely because they're an official and assumed they could get away with it.

Home invasion? How quaint! That was a thing 20 years ago. I mean, not actual home invasions. They were quite rare, just like they are now. Fear of home invasions as part of the national zeitgeist, though, where it's in the media all the time, and we make movies about it.

This guy needs to keep up. It's autistic trans illegals now. (And if he'd said he thought the guy was an ICE agent, I might have had a moment of sympathy.)

You can bet that conservative propaganda outlets are pushing the narrative that autistic trans illegals are breaking into homes, cleaning out medicine cabinets and replacing them with fentanyl or something equally as batshit.
