Daily reminder that the President is legally authorized to invade the Hague in the event that an American soldier is held on trial.

Also that any US government agency or official is legally prohibited from complying with the investigations of the Hague. Not investigations into American service members. Any investigation.

Also that the US military is legally prohibited from aiding any country that does comply with the ICC, unless specifically authorized elsewhere.

This is fucked, especially in defense of genocide. But the US has already been fundamentally, diametrically opposed to the operations of the ICC for 25 years.

Before anyone from the US gets a patriotic boner about invading the Hague, standing Frogeater policy is to glass Washington with a sub-launched nuke as a warning shot if shit gets real and a US president really thinks they can do that.

The subs are in the Atlantic with the nukes right now.

What if I'm from the US and get a boner for DC getting nuked because of our shitstain of a President and his spineless accomplices?

(Apologies to the many fine residents of the DC area who mostly didn't vote for Trump)

A semi-rude term for someone from France, where frog legs are on some menus.

Side note: I’m not the least bit French, but had frog legs at an upscale French bistro once and they were delicious.

But why slur french in this context?

[–] pitiable_sandwich540@feddit.org 3 points 2 weeks ago

He's probably European. My first guess was German, because some of us never forgave them for the french revolution, humiliation by Napoleon, the treaty of Versailles or a mix of all of them.

He mentioned a unique keyboard layout in another post so now im guessing hungary, maybe...

most people in the US were too distracted

By a blow up between the two biggest policy makers in the country arguing over a multi-trillion dollar budget bill?

Who could blame them?

[–] AcidicBasicGlitch@lemm.ee 19 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I don't blame them, I blame the 2 billionaires that likely created a reality TV inspired distraction

Don't worry folks, the 125 party states were not distracted. Can't say if it will have consequences for the US or it's citizens but this is not going unnoticed.
