If it's 10 million I get a bit concerned. If it's 100 million I have a problem. If it's 1 billion then I'd consider them evil incarnate.

$1 million is pretty close to the minimum you need to not be impoverished in retirement, give or take Social Security.
This is talking about "wealth" so I'm pretty sure absolutely insane house prices contributed to this as well :/
Some of them still can't buy a house.
(Jk, I assume it's net wealth, so houses are what made the millionaires.)
