I'd never heard of the Maidenhead Locator System so I thought perhaps that was a typo. I went to uni close to there (which is South England) but lately I live in SE Asia (it's too hot!)

Southwest Washington State. Originally from Northwest Oregon.

It is amazing here. We have very moderate weather, lots of trees year round. An hour from the beach. An hour from the mountains. Surrounded by forests.

The people here are pretty diverse and friendly for the most part. Always festivals or events going on year round. We have a great beer and food culture.

The complaints I have are few and far between, but overall it is a fantastic area.

I'm from a small town in Kentucky but have moved multiple times throughout my life due to my parents occupations. Now that I'm older I've moved to a bigger more liberal city in Kentucky which is considerably more diverse and has plenty of things to keep you occupied.

I'm from one of the many cities in Metro Manila, Philippines. Right now, it's very, very rainy.

I live in the countryside of western New York, somewhat close to Buffalo. Its beautiful land, but not a lot to do unless you're really into outdoor activities (which are fun, just in moderation for me).

Left Coast, baybeee!

Westside of Michigan. The summers and autumn are stuningly beautiful here. And it's surprisingly affordable to live here, though, like pretty much everywhere, that's is charging rapidly>

Southern California. It's very hot here and there's a lot of dirt, but at least we have In-N-Out.

Being in the high desert, we have like four weather patterns, but we do rarely get snow so it's cool to see when it happens. It also gets very windy, especially during early summer.

To get anywhere interesting you would have to drive, and to go on vacation you would have to drive much further. Even then, a lot of people still drive big trucks that burn gas like nobody's business. But hey, that's rural America for you.

Originally from Long Island, New York and the city area, now in Metro Detroit - USA. Similar vibes, but more quiet way of life. Cool to learn about the midwest and different area of the US. I've lived in the UK before and miss that. I hope to make it to the West Coast to see what it's like living there :D

Greater Boston area here, and I love it! Lots of friends from school happen to live here, and the job market has been decent for me as a software engineer.

Northern Saxony-Anhalt in Germany, probably the most boring place in this country with nothing but dry fields and narrow minded people, at least outside of the capital city

I'm from south west of Germany (Südbaden).

I was born in Dayton, Ohio in the US - however my father was in the military at the time, and two years later he was stationed in San Antonio, Texas so we moved there. I then lived there until about a year after I graduated high school, and moved back to Dayton to be closer to my mom's side of the family.

I much prefer not living in what is essentially summer weather for 80% of the year! Plus, I never really got to experience snow as a kid so that was quite fun the first winter! 😅

Originally from the mid Atlantic, USA, have lived in NW England for years now.

I mostly live in the state of exhaustion, though sometimes I get to visit the land of dreams.

Eventually, I expect to move permanently into the undiscovered country...

The tune of our lives, voluntarily or not, is "dunka dunka" - edm/dansband-music that feature loud bass (LOUD) and explicit lyrics, blaring from the speaker-mountains installed in the A-tractors of our youths.

I'm in England, Essex. That's east of London. Stuck between two cities in a rural setting.

Grew up in Colorado in the United States; but have been living in Tokyo the last like 8 years or so.

And it’s… super crowded these days, to be honest. Wouldn’t mind a smaller city at all.

Helsinki, Finland.

What I love about the area I live in (and most of Helsinki for that matter) is how close nature is. I live a few hundred meters from the beach, there's two nature preserves within 1km, and generally there's lots of trees and greenery everywhere

I'm from Oviedo, Spain.

From west Central Arkansas, USA. It's fairly nice here. Travel for an hour in any direction and you are basically in the middle of the woods. Very slow way of life for most.
