There was this company selling USB sticks from AliExpress but rebranded as "5G bio shield". It's supposed to protect you from 5G waves. They said it had a nano layer quantum holographic catalyzer technology... whatever that means.

I remember in highschool some kids were selling stickers that you were supposed to put on the back of your phone to protect you from "radiation".

I don't think that scam will ever go away

When I was on holiday in Spain with my parents a guy came up to us and opened his coat to reveal a myriad of watches. My father put on his best "oblivious tourist" voice and said "Ah, Rolex!"

The poor guy couldn't stop laughing and his sales pitch had failed.
