This is not a porn law, it is a law requiring people to register to view information that is considered by the state to be obscene or otherwise harmful.

considered by the state to be obscene or otherwise harmful.

That means “whatever we say.” Porn is expression is speech and is protected by the first amendment. No exceptions. But then again, the Constitution hasn’t mattered in a very long time.

So... porn.

It encompasses more than porn. That wording can mean whatever a judge wants it to mean. This is how people wind up in prison for talking about queerness in a positive light.

Exactly. And why stop there? They could decide that political speech is "obscene" and "harmful".

It's never about the children.

Far worse.

E.G. Trump openly considers anyone asking into Epstein and the much promised list to be obscene, has a few times now opined about removing people's citizenship and has a fucking concentration camp

A law like this allows anyone like him to set anything he wants as obscene.
You look at something he made obscene, so they have to store your personal info. Then his goons get your personal info via ICE Then he takes away your citizenship.

Then its concentration camp time.

Like Islam making it illegal to draw pictures of their profit. Basically they can outlaw anything they want with bills like this.

Censorship, aka the slippery slope. Look at China's internet access, and the need for social credit

I'll be moving, but to an even more red state sadly. Only a matter of time before this hits all the religious nut job states.

Its the solution to something that should not be a problem in the first place.
