Of course it is. The old guard doesn't know any other way, and they refuse tob learn. Maybe they should have listened to David Hogg rather than drummed him out to appease the olds.

What a fucking stupid plan...for fuck sake copying the Nazi plan is so lame and cringe
“a Dem[ocratic] message disconnected from left-wing groups,” with one person who’s involved texting him that “the groups are the Achilles Heel of the Deomcratic Party [sic].”
Lol
We are so fucked.
ETA: the one-two punch of Reagan-Clinton (with a Reagan-lite thrown inbetween) will go down as the most destructive period in US history. People today screaming apocalypse over Trump dont know how much we lost in that 20 year period of pure, unmitigated middle-class hatred. Truly the most avoidable and most severe downfall of an empire in history.
Well. It'll be hard to top the 260s, and the Third Century Crisis in general.
Not really. There's no way Dems don't sweet midterms and stop Trump in his tracks. He's probably not leaving office alive one way or another. We just need better candidates to take the next steps is the problem.
There are too many Democrats who don't dislike fascism that much, because it's less inconvenient to them than socialism. The situation needs a party that's actually motivated to combat the fascists.
Jbfc, they’re all ghoulish caricatures. How tf are they real people? They must be gaining something by tanking the DNC.
The world of 2025 is not the same one of decades earlier: Americans don’t like the undue influence of corporate power; they want their government to do more for them; they’re tired of war; they’ve been devastated by decades of offshoring and austerity; and, as they have made repeatedly clear, they’re not fans of the Clinton family.
The Republicans cover several of these points.
Voters also care about crime and immigration.
What the democratic elite doesn’t get is the working class has more socially conservative values.
I would argue that they aren't more conservative, they are in a bad place and looking for someone with answers. The Democrats have essentially preached status quo for the last decade. Many working class voters look at where they are and look at the party looking to keep things the same, and they either vote for the other party or don't vote at all.
If someone was to offer non-fascist solutions to the problems most of the working class are having, I suspect we would be talking about how the working class has swung left.
I am not saying conservatives are the right choice for the working class by any means, but the perception by many is that they are looking to break the status quo in a world where most people feel like they are worse off than they could be.
Oh hey look at that, another SJW user out in the wild doing fascist apologia. That sure is an odd trend they have going on over there with the nazi memes and apologetics. Is that the "working class" instance for the "socially conservative" or just a coincidence?
...stop being okay with people fucking kids...
