you have to understand gender to be a binary to believe this, and have to believe that the gender binary requires strict adherence in order to maintain a functioning society. this is, of course, a logical fallacy. acceptance of a gender spectrum, or even a rejection of gender as a social construct entirely, is the only sensible way.

I feel like as you get older, you come into contact with things that make you uncomfortable, and people sort themselves into two groups. Some people lean in to the discomfort and want to know why, and some pull back and reject anything that makes them feel weird.

women bodybuilders will often get breast implants because the chest muscles and the breast aren't in the same location and it looks kinda weird if you have massive chest muscles, the implants even it out some
I have a strong feeling that the people that say that it is gay to feel attracted by a woman with "male" attributes will also say that it is gay to be attracted by a trans woman. Cognitive dissonance all around.
