I learned to validate myself.

Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.
Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.
Since there were many mentions of allergies, I should point out lactose intolerance. Everyone is lactose intolerant to some extent. Even if you continue to produce the lactase enzyme into adulthood it is in limited supply.
Its been good to learn that there is a limit to how much cheese I can consume.
Always trying to clean as I go. Not as in clean the house, but as in whenever I am doing something every free moment I have I try to clean and organize so that by the time I am done, I might not have anything left to clean and organize.
Cooking? Every thing I finish with I wash
Working in the yard? Any tool I am done with I put it back in place.
Etc.
It feels obvious, but only once I actively decided to remind myself of this method everyday, did I really start to feel the improvement.
I have ADHD so this only worked for me since I started getting medication, but it really is helpful if you can do it.
Hi fellow neurospicy! That's no small achievement well done
Thanks! I liked the term "neurospicy" 🤣
Slightly tangental, but I learned that I was allergic to shellfish! I was wondering why I felt sick immediately after eating foods that were mixed with shellfish or contaminants. Knowing makes life a heck of a lot easier.
Edit: a bidet, to give you a better answer!
Stop rushing into relationships with others, learning to trust our gut about things.
Giving up gluten, turns out we were minorly allergic all these years and that was the source of our tummy pain, which doctors never thought to check.
Mentally seperating ourselves from those we live with.
I found out I was reactively hypoglycemic. A very slight diet adjustment and:
- my panic attacks ended
- my migraines stopped
- my body properly signalled hunger again
- my overall life quality improved
That's a huge change from a small change I'm so glad you realised
Having Covid. Barely any symptoms, ruined my life.
Oh no how come?
