So this is the distraction you're going to attempt, because you're in the Epstein files and were briefed on that months ago... Release them!

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 19 points 2 hours ago

Prosecute them for what? Also, I cannot put my finger on it...what is something all of these people share?

Taco is really losing his mind over his child-raping scandal.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 22 points 6 hours ago

Cool story. Release the Epstein files.

What do they have in common?

[–] AlecSadler@lemmy.blahaj.zone 20 points 9 hours ago

They're not white. Otherwise he would have added Taylor Swift.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 27 points 11 hours ago

That they aren't the epstein files

“YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT. IT IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO SO,” the president wrote in a Truth Social post. “Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying for people to endorse them. All hell would break out!”

So, I conclude that Trump pays people to endorse him regularly. Quick, we need to audit the Nuge and Kid Rock....

This dude shilled Tesla on the WH lawn, and beans from the Oval Office. It's okay, corporations aren't people!

[–] scottrepreneur@lemmy.world 10 points 2 hours ago

A specific pillow company would like a shill too please

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 34 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

Don't forget the late Hulk Hogan

[–] nokturne213@sopuli.xyz 23 points 12 hours ago

I have been trying to forget about the Hulkster for years.

Epstein is all that matters now. He will be creating more distractions.

Just your regular reminder that the President of the United States is deranged.

[–] kinsnik@lemmy.world 23 points 12 hours ago

Beyoncé and Oprah own media production companies. These companies were hired to help produce and stream media events. If it’s a problem for the campaign to hire companies that are headed by people who have favor the candidate, then, oh boy, does The Trump Organization have a lot of ‘splaining to do.

[–] womjunru@lemmy.cafe 24 points 14 hours ago

He won’t explain anything. He will put them in alligator Auschwitz and no one will do anything.

[–] DaddleDew@lemmy.world 50 points 14 hours ago

It's another tactic to distract the media's attention away from the Epstein affair. Whatever Trump's involvement in this must be something to behold.

[–] alaphic@lemmy.world 56 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

Ok, so, at what point can we finally take grandpa's license away? Seriously

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 14 points 14 hours ago

Put him in the home already!

[–] kylie_kraft@lemmy.world 16 points 13 hours ago

temporarily embarrassed fascist attempts distraction by offering famous black women as targets, how unexpected.

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 15 points 14 hours ago

I hope this backfires and he gets absolutely fucked by their law squads

[–] vegeta@lemmy.world 16 points 15 hours ago* (last edited 15 hours ago) (1 children)

I guess Taylor Swift gets a pass because Trump figured she could not see it coming.

It's because she suffers from a very weird problem:

She's the physical ideal of white supremacists, so no matter what happens, in their head they're going to always find a way to rationalize that she's on their side.

[–] hitmyspot@aussie.zone 5 points 12 hours ago

So, white?

It also might be because he's afraid of her, more than the others. They have huge followings too, but Taylor Swift has been able to call her followers into action.

[–] womjunru@lemmy.cafe 9 points 14 hours ago

And a billionaire.

[–] SereneSadie@lemmy.myserv.one 2 points 14 hours ago

I mean, from all the shit I've heard about Oprah, 1/3 isn't bad.

Just saying, if there was a way to direct the path of the mad cow's rampage, she's the ideal target.
