This isn't communism. It's fascism... and conservatives love fascism.
But Bernie Sanders supports this initiative, I don't know if he really follows his ideology or if he's just a politician who doesn't follow his principles.

Come the fuck on, it’s nakedly obvious that it’s just mafia-esque bullshit. Call it what it is.
This is unorthodox to neoliberals only. The alternatives are:
- let your only hardware manufacturer of this scale die - not great for national security
- bail out with no strings attached - another transfer of public wealth to shareholders
