Evil. And rewarding evildoers.

Texas House Democratic Caucus and the Texas Women’s Health Caucus in a press release also critiqued HB 7 for including provisions “stating it cannot be challenged in Texas state courts” and that would prevent “defendants from recovering legal costs even when they win”, which they said “creates a system designed to bankrupt anyone who dares to help Texas women.”

“This bill was written specifically to allow extremist organizations to enrich themselves while terrorizing innocent Texas women,” Texas House Minority Leader Rep. Gene Wu, D-Houston, said in a statement.

I mean, this is what the people of Texas ultimately want.

These lawmakers didn't fall from the sky. They were elected by the people of Texas.

Greg Abott, the powerful governor of Texas ? He was elected by the people of Texas. He is wildly popular.

Abbott won against Beto 54.76% to 43.86%. With 4,437,099 votes for Abbott, that is about 19.6% of the voting-age population in 2022. Abbott is not wildly popular and a large portion of the state hates his guts. Texas is wildly disenfranchised.

Wildly lazy. Excluding Hilary Clinton, every Democratic candidate since Obama has gotten more votes than the Republican governor just 2 years later. We can easily eject Abbott, we just can't be bothered to try.

Oh look! They're moving backwards!

You know if Texas actually spent the same amount of time and effort they do attacking women into doing things like improving health care outcomes, fixing their electrical grid, and making preventative future fixes for their national responses, Texas would actually be a great state.

But they don’t want to do those things.

Indiana should pass a law allowing private citizens to sue Texas citizens if Texas citizens sue under this law or if they wear blue on Tuesdays.
