Just wanted to provide an update on the green lynx spider that’s been living in my garden. I’ve been watching her since late June when she was this tiny thing that was missing 2 legs.

She’s definitely getting a lot bigger! She caught an earwig yesterday.

I found one of her molts in the garden and took a picture.

Last night I found this handsome fella looking for love a few leaves over!! She was pretty close too.

She had him for breakfast this morning 💀Hopefully he is bringing her lots of nutrients to make some green lynx spider babies!

TIL than spiders can regrow their legs if they're not done molting. That's pretty neat!

Yeah! They can regrow appendages when molting like lots of other insects and spiders. They are pretty cool!

I did not have my glasses, and read "there were missing two dogs" at first.

Thanks! She’s been my friend for the last few months and I’ve had such a blast watching her get bigger and catch larger prey. She’s so cool!
