Social media erupted with bewildered reactions from attendees. Some praised the band for forcing a conversation about surveillance that most people avoid, while others expressed discomfort with the unexpected data capture.

I doubt they're anywhere near as uncomfortable as they should be given the omnipresent mass surveillance by governments who condone genocide, while creeping towards fascism.

If you're upset you saw your face in a visual in a concert, but not in a situation to deny you rights, freedoms, or to catalog you into a demographic for a custom price increase or deny you employment, or living spaces, you're upset about the wrong edge of a two edged sword, because all tech is that.
