Damn I kindof feel a certain way.

Does the bottom image seem… off… to anyone else? There are no veins visible in his eyes, the light is reflecting differently in each eye, the background is a suspicious off-white, the model and his attire are very physically generic and featureless, and there’s a very high sharpness and focus without any depth, so it raised some intuitive AI gen red flags for me. I was not able to find any matches with several different reverse image searches, and I tried several sites for detecting AI gen images and most suggested that it was a real photograph but one site wholly disagreed.

I found your comment valuable. Recognizing AI is a skill we all need to practice.

This is how the light fades from the eyes of the memeists.

We will end up hiding in the refuges of deepfried and dank memes from site 19

[–] Reginald_T_Biter@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

If it comes to that, god help us all.

Damn excuse me for being curious about something and asking others for their opinion wtf

It is ai generated, the whole thing is

[–] s@piefed.world 4 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

That is ridiculously lazy and a form of learned helplessness

So this comment has been bugging me... I thought of a meme and used chatgpt to make a picture of what I had in mind. I don't have a computer or any graphics software. Should I have just forgotten about it instead of using AI? It seems so weird to personally insult someone because they used AI to make a graphic based on an idea in text. I see you make a lot of really low hanging fruit memes, but for some reason, you feel the need to gatekeep meme creation? Did I miss something? Who are you?

I don't have a computer or any graphics software.

You have an internet connection. I make my content on my phone. I distinguish things people design from them showcasing a dice roll.

Ok, fine. But what nade you go out of your way to insult me because I used AI? Just seems weird to me..

[–] s@piefed.world 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Because telling me that you rolled a 6 on one die and a 2 on another die is completely mindless and uninteresting, whether or not you weighted any of those dice.

I'm more against the "this is so relatable" memes without a punchline.

I always assume that phrase means "I'm horny af" and thus far it's always fit pretty well in the context, so I'm just rolling with it.

And I always feel a certain way 😏
