A few months ago, Charlie Kirk was saying she needed to get blown up by an Israeli missile while she was on a boat protesting the Gaza genocide. I believe she was arrested and later released for those protests.

Weeeelll no, they arent. They’re sending ships, but they have been ordered not to defend the flotilla, just to rescue the people once theyre in the water.
You are right, but having scary navy ships involved is definitely a step in the right direction. Some might say this is even better than 'real' protection since this a very pacifist way of using the military.
