The forum is right, but the platform is wrong. Lemmy generally doesn't like AI. Still, don't let this one post color your perception. Just about all the people here are wonderful, and it's possible the people downvoting are seeing this from All, not their subs.

Naa, allowing a single post to affect my opinion of a group would be silliness, no worries :). As for AI, I can understand peoples reticence, particularly in regards to corpos using it to replace humans. I just run local models as a means to explore ideas, fantasies, and have a bit of fun in my free time. Thanks for the response kind stranger, may your day be excellent :).

If you're using SillyTavern it also supports import from janitorai, so I take cards from there pretty often
Its on all and unfortunately furry is an unpopular subculture. Im older con goer and before furries had their own con there was a great one that was mostly furry and klingon. Also I playe champions online that pretty much would not be online without furry support. So I have a good experience with furries and am positive as a person outside the subculture but that does not seem to be the general case. I feel like folks who want something to hate get to much flak in general but not with furries so it becomes somewhat acceptable. Anyway that is the likely reason for the downvote. I don't know how to look at votes but I bet they are not pawb.social accounts.
