Soulslike - Discussion, News, Memes
This is a community for discussion, news, and memes pertaining to the video game sub-genre "soulslike".
Given Lemmy's size, the definition of soulslike may be treated relatively loosely. While games like the numerous FromSoft titles, the recent Star Wars Jedi games, Lies of P, Nioh and similar games should be the focus, games that incorporate soulslike elements - like Hollow Knight and Blasphemous, for example - may also be discussed here.
Basic Lemmy-quette applies. Additionally, since flairs don't exist yet, please do make sure to include a marker to denote what game your post is about in square brackets for clarity's sake. An example could be:
[BB] This enemy is so difficult!
or
[DS1] Anyone struggling with the gargoyles?

I'm definitely going with "never found the escape route in the asylum demon's room"
I am always entertained by a Steam game's percentage of players who launched the game vs players who completed the first achievement. In Callisto Protocol the requirement for the first achievement is walking down a linear path for a couple minutes, vaulting once and ducking once
8.8% of Steam players never made it past the first few minutes
I'm guessing a lot of those people are either people who had issues trying to run the game or downloaded it thinking "yeah I'll play this later" then never actual end up playing.
Or they may play offline and the achievement doesn't appear.
My first thought as well. To be fair, it is somewhat easy to miss and a quite devious decision by Miyazaki.
Im sorry but no one is handling those skeletons ten minutes into the game. Even if you know what you're doing they're just to tanky and swarm you like its a gank fest.
So the bible does have some use...
"He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword"
- Jesus, Bible
As a faith/str user for sure
Guess it's also usable as a door stop...
