Reminds me of a school Halloween event where you are blindfolded and have to go around feeling "brains" and "eyeballs" but it's just like spaghetti and grapes and stuff.

[–] rockerface@lemmy.cafe 4 points 14 hours ago

Ah yes, Shabriri grapes, my favourite!

Halloween is about to get messy this year.

These anti-vaxxer spreading parties are going up a level.

I have two children but I'm not that hungry. Can I donate my other handful to a childless person?

[–] urheber@discuss.tchncs.de 8 points 16 hours ago

Honestly...

Man, pocket scrambled eggs is the best

[–] prex@aussie.zone 1 points 40 minutes ago

I refuse to eat my scrambled eggs from a man pocket.
Oh, a comma. Sorry about that.

Egging 'em before they egg your house. Outstanding move

I'm guessing it's a joke about the Halloween candy tradition they have in the US.

[–] Blackout@fedia.io 4 points 14 hours ago

In my part of the country we give out fried eggs

[–] SnoringEarthworm@sh.itjust.works 2 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

Oh, right, that holiday.

Without context, this is just... fine? As long as they wash their hands first.

[–] hungryphrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

Still, most trick-or-treaters probably expect something other than a handful of scrambled eggs.

I agree.

Halloween is the context.
I said it was fine without context.

As in, on a normal day where people are not trick or treating (and therefore expecting candy)... it's fine.

As long as they wash their hands first.
