I've once or twice planned a whole evening/weekend around weed and a box of various eclairs. I still think back to it sometimes. Miss you, Pastries by Randolph.

Only a couple of times with THOSE ECLAIRS. I miss them.

Decided to look the place up, I live only about an hour or so from there! Is it really that good?

I moved away about 7 years ago and it was my all-time favorite bakery at the time. They could do no wrong. Still haven't found better eclairs. Several reviews now concerningly suggest the ownership(?) changed around 2024 and impacted quality. Maybe it's still worth it, it breaks my heart to think it's all just...gone.

We also always loved Dixie Bones BBQ down in Woodbridge. The waitresses used to carry my son back behind the counter with them when he was a baby. Miss that place, too.

Thanks for the reply! Next time I'm out that way, I'll give them a try and see if they still live up to the hype.

I don't get down Woodbridge way very often, but I have tried a couple burger places that I'll recommend to everybody- one is Melt in Leesburg, and the other is Homespun Farm Store and Restaurant in Berryville. Both are by far some of the best burgers I've had.

Lastly, Round Table pizzas are my favorite, but I only get out to the West Coast a few times a year for right now.

Once I went to the store at 2 in the morning and bought a bag of Reese’s Minis and a big box of Q-tips.

No connection, I was working through the night, was craving chocolate, and happened to be out of cotton swabs.

The teenaged girl at the register probably had theories, though.

Probably just wanted cake but thought if he purchased sunscreen too people would think he was more practical

I thought they were going to enjoy a slice of cake in the sun.

I still do not know what else to think.

Is this so obvious?

For what else do you need sunscreen other than protecting from sun? It seems so reachable but I don't get it.

Coconut sunscreen tastes amazing.

"They'll see the sunscreen and think 'he's gonna go out and earn himself that slice of cake, good for him.'"

--The guy's thought process, probably

Sunscreen is gonna make for a terrible cake frosting...
