Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.

Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.

This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

Don't take yourselves too seriously. Serious posts go to !anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Rules

  1. If you post images with text, endeavour to provide the alt-text

  2. If the image is a crosspost from an OP, Provide the source.

  3. Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.

  4. Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

  5. No bigotry whatsoever. See instance rules.

  6. This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

  7. No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

Not in the cosmic sense, definitely not.

Actions followed by natural consequences certainly does operate in this reality.

Posting imgur links is bad karma.

[–] zaknenou@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 months ago (3 children)

hmm, the problem is that I see admins of some instances encourage us to do so, so that we don't inflate the infra, but it doesn't seem like Lemmy fully supports using image hosting services ~~

The UK is blocked from being able to see imgur content.

[–] zaknenou@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 2 months ago

aah, I changed to imgbb

[–] wesker@lemmy.sdf.org 4 points 2 months ago

My gripe is that imgur is bloated, loaded to the brim with so many ads and trackers that it actually slogs down browsers, and culminates into a barely navigatable UI. There are other friendlier options.

Use catbox, postimages, or imgbb?

[–] zaknenou@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

I switched to imgbb. I kinda didn't want to use catbox cuz they are already poor, I wanted to abuse corporation services. And I was expecting there to be a preview of the image.

Nothing inherently wrong with that.

Hold on while I break out the world's smallest violin for poor ole' Jordan Peterson - couldn't have happened to a finer specimen, methinks.

And the rest of you need to get off your little edgelord atheist soapboxes.

Dude's been having a mental breakdown his entire life.

Karma is nothing to do with a deity though.

What do you mean "me?" Have you ever thought that within the order and chaos of life, the dragon has consumed parts of the universe unknown?

One thing I've learned in life is that there are people I do not wish to have a platform and will also miss dearly in certain contexts.

I don't have to. I don't have any reason to believe it exists any more than I have reason to believe gods exist.

Why do you think karma exists?

[–] FreddiesLantern@leminal.space 1 points 3 weeks ago

How many times do we have to see these tragedies?

Always take breaks and do some proper stretching between doing mental gymnastics.

I once knew an extremely attractive person named Karma. Definitely proof that god exists.
