What's your jam? I'm still drawn back to Bukem, Grooverider, Goldie, Ronnie Size styles

I'm very much into Dieselboy (he was the first DNB musician I discovered), Evol Intent, Break, Fourward, Quadrant & Iris, the list goes on!

[–] ruud@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yes Dieselboy rocked. Also Technical Itch, Counterstrike etc.

I fuck with Counterstrike HEAVILY. I was actually at their first ever US show like 20 years ago right outside of Washington, DC.

You guys are basically me. Bukem's Logical Progression got me into D&B in the first place, while Dieselboy's Dungeon Master's Guide is probably my favourite D&B album.

Still very much into the darker, harder side of things as it stands.

I love Dungeonmaster's Guide too!

97Octane was the first piece of DNB that I ever heard, and I almost immediately became fascinated with it. My favorite by DSL is Substance D. But yes, Dungeonmaster's Guide is excellent also!! Big ups!

It's the one two punch combo of Moulin Rouge and Flight 643 that gets me every time. "The portal closes. There is no escape."

Yeah, those two back to back are crazy for sure!!

Man the Break remix of Dillinger's Hard Noize is incredible, a modern reimagining of an epic classic.

[–] MTZ@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago

Yeah, that Break rmx is definitely a TUNE!

Good times I assume, though I've never been to a Rampage or a Let It Roll. I did go to Locus in Tulum, Mexico and that was insane!
